Nothing wrong with asking. There was a time in our society's past call
"Common Courtesy" I know... it seems to have gone by the wayside........

How many of you guys will not ask strangers for help?
Not big things like money or empting a leg bag if full, but just little
things if you are out and about by yourself. When I’m out on long rides with
my little dog little things always come up and I use to never ask strangers
for help. Though now do it all the time. Just today I asked a guy if he
could pull a stick off my back wheel. It was thumping every time it went
around. Before I would have just left it alone until I got home. I often have
to ask someone if they could fix the leash, or last week I asked a lady if
she would fix my hat (it blew off and was between my head and headrest). I
even stop at the video store sometimes while out to exchange movies.
Just wondering,
Greg
