I have experienced dizzy spells every time I've gotten into my chair. This has been going on even one rehab 10 years ago. The doctors in rehab Baylor medical center, Dallas, knew that I had a problem. The rehab experience was pretty much ineffective. I have spent very little time in my wheelchair as a result of this dizziness. I have no solution! I had a real bad dizzy attack today. I was out front reading on my entrance way on my house. It’s not big, just a nice cubby hole to block the wind and reflect the sun/heat. It was about 75 out today, but I don’t think I was overheating. At first I was just light headed so I reclined a bit. A neighbor stopped by and I tried to sit up. Everything stated going black. My hearing started fading out. I never went out, but it was close. It was bad for about 30 minutes, but was still not back to normal for hours. Once I was OK, I was just tired for awhile. I keep thinking of getting a prescription for low blood pressure medication to use on days like these. I often get slight cases like this after my b-program I know this topic was going awhile back. Anyone suggest a medication to use on bad days, not an every day med? Though my BP is always low, Maybe I should try a daily medication? Thanks, Greg
