I agree that you really need to see another Dr.. That seems like a very invasive procedure, and a second opinion is certainly warranted. I'm also C4 complete, stayed with intermittent cathing for most of these 19 plus years, and have not had to consider other options. But certainly a supra-pubic would seem to be a much more body friendly way to go.
