Why not download the kindle to a regular computer and read the books that way? At Amazon.com on the left hand side click on Kindle, then go to free reading apps. You can use it to read the books on any computer,or even a smart phone.
Once you download the app, you buy books just like regular Kindle. This would seem like no problem for most people, but when you're using a mouse stick and the button to wake the Kindle backup is underneath and has to be depressed and slid to the right for a couple of seconds this is virtually impossible. Anyone have any ideas? Quadius
