I would not have settled for getting it back UNTIL it had been checked out IN
THEIR PRESENCE and BEFORE you found out the problems. Whenever I have that
anything done to my chair... everything is checked out before it leaves their
property.

Doing/settling for anything else (or less) is pure folly/borderline stupidity.

It sounds like you have a bunch of Mickey Mouse, uncaring vendors up there!
I have never had to go more than one day without my now 12-year-old Permobile.

Having said that however... all my best to you!

Here I go again on my chair repairs.
I get my chair back from the repair shop today (Preferred), happy that it
only took a month this time. I get in it and the joystick's programs are all
screwed up. They will not control the tilt, recline, legs, seat. Plus when I
try the seat using a separate switch I can use, after raising the seat about 2
inches it makes a big clank like some metal piece is breaking off. Does t going
back down also.
But what really piss's me off is they say they can't schedule me to come in
until the 23rd. Though if I schedule them to pick up my chair they can pick it
up in 2 days and work on it then. And maybe get it back next Mon or Tues. Now
if they can spend the time working on it if they pick it up, why not if I bring
it in. Plus it is their fault. It's mostly a quick programming thing. The clack
might just be something stuck in there. Probably 10 minutes most. I'm calling
again tomorrow maybe get a higher up person. Squeaky wheel kind of thing, a
loud squeak. The last 3 or 4 times they delivered my chair they had it
programmed wrong. I even called after they got my chair to tell them to be sure
to check it. Oh last but least... I asked them to replace the lever on the
headrest. It was broken off. They forgot to do that!
