I got gassed. I went down punching and woke up crying and punching. I don't know what happened between those times....... for the wisdom teeth. After that I just got dumb. Best Wishes In a message dated 4/5/2011 6:57:08 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
It's a long story, but I usually have to transfer into the dentist chair every time I get my teeth cleaned. It can be done with two people who know what they're doing. I don't see why they cannot put you on an IV drip that puts you in a twilight situation. You're not asleep per se, but you're not really going to know what's going on either. I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled a long time ago by an oral surgeon. The Army wouldn't pull impacted wisdom teeth without using an oral surgeon and I can tell you that it was not as bad an experience as I have seen other people deal with. Good luck. I had a root canal on this tooth like 30 years ago and he screwed it up. One of the posts is in the wrong spot and too short. Once my first tooth was pulled, it let this tooth move just enough to cause an issue. Now when I eat anything hot goes crazy. I've seen 2 specialists and both say it can not be saved. Both being left/top molars, it screws up chewing. I'm probably getting an implant on one of the spots $$$. OK, now the bad news. I need to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled too. Top ones not bad, they are out. Both bottom ones are impacted going sideways pushing on the root of the molars. Plus an infection in there. Normally they put you out, but because of me being a quad and want to stay in my chair, he wants me awake. Drowsy, gassed, but awake. So they want to do it all at one time... Yikes, Greg
