I have almost got my bowels back in order. It seems I was taking in too much fiber, in addition to an antacid, omeprazole, which was really messing up my bowels.
I had to cut down on my veggie burgers/chicken/sausage and almost eliminate the Metamucil. I was using Metamucil in order to give me some consistency in my movement, but this was over stimulating my bowels. I use 2 tablespoons of mineral oil and one small amount of Mylax (spelling) about six hours before I do my bowel regimen. My bowel regimen still takes forever, but at least I feel pretty decent in between bowel movements.
