hi, Quadius--I use latex also--they are more flexible than the stiffer silicone ones. Yes, if you did not have a lot of sediment, it is probably stones, I had a large one removed 4 1/2 years ago. If you get stopped due to any stones....just have your caregiver slightly move the catheter out a bit or flush. Dan H.

Whenever I have a silicone catheter in my bladder it spasms so bad that I'm not able to do anything.Hopefully by Tuesday I'll be able to figure out what's going on. Today the catheter clogged and when we cleared it there was not one bit of sediment. I really think there are some stones in there. Thanks for the feedback.
