Personally, I think you are entitled to your feelings. I hope I'm wrong too.
Besides yourself, there are those around you who think more highly of you right
now then you do. If group therapy or group counseling is available to you... I
would consider it. I know that once women set their minds to do things, ya
don't step in their way, but rather strong reasoning might help. I can only
wonder what Pete is going thru at this time. I sincerely hope and wish the
best for both of you. That being said..
  Best Wishes

    Everybody,
I'm just TIRED, VERY, VERY TIRED of dealing with this quad shit and
ALL that is associated with it. I realize that I am luckier than most with my
level of injury and loooong relationship with my "better half". But I an ready
to just "check out" and take ALL my pain meeds at once BUT the thing is I might
be worse off, it might not be enough. Bobbie

    > Hi Bobbie, what are so down about? I have days when I cant stand my
situation any more as well. I cry and feel the loss and it usually passes after
a few days. The loss seems worse as the years go on. It happens more and more
as I get older, I think fear of what will happen to me if my husband dies and
so on. its hard for us quads for sure. Is your health ok when you are out of
bed? Things are much harder for me the last few years, I don't like driving
because I don't feel safe getting in and out of my van and such. I use to be
much more independent, going out by myself allot. So, I guess after 34 years I
am struggling more as well. I just try and make myself go on and look at the
positive things in my life, and there are many. reading is good, especially
reading about people who have it harder than we do in some ways makes me more
grateful and less full of saddness. keep in touch, I am a good listener and
would like to talk to you as well when I get down, just to vent is healing.
Talk soon, Shirley

getting lost in a GREAT book "The Help" it's a real "page Tunner" I don't want
to see ANYBODY or talk on the phone. I really just want to stay in bed but Pete
is making me get up - October 3rd we'll be together 29 years!
