To be honest I'm not adverse to be in on multiple lists, but it is more a matter of security for me. I would have to create another user on Facebook, because there is no way I'm going to give all the information I divulge on the quads list. You notice that I don't use my name. That is plain and simple security. There are many people on here who know my name, but thankfully they don't put it out there unless we are corresponding directly.
I think Facebook is pretty good. I don't particularly like it as well as blogging or the quads list, but it does have advantages over the quads list. I have a surgery scheduled for the ileovesicostomy in early May and perhaps one I returned from that hospital stay I will sign up. A long time ago I used to use my real name on the quads list, but I didn't like the fact that a simple Google search would reveal a lot of personal information I would rather not share with everyone else in the world; at least not without a pseudonym helping me out. It's not infallible, but at least it keeps the average creeps from getting information I don't want shared with them.
