Glad to read the redness has receded and you are experiencing a slight
improvement. This goes to show you and others just how fast an infection can
spread. Did your doctors determine how long you had the infection, before
it surfaced with symptoms?

Well, guys, day3 of IV treatment and leg shows slight improvement. The
redness has receded a bit but swelling is still outrageous. See a surgeon
today to see if he thinks any of the hot mess needs debrieding (sp?) I know
I'm
preaching to the choir, but this never-ending crap gets so very old.

This sounds pretty serious Candle and dangerous as well. You might want to
tell your Dr about this if you haven't yet

It doesn't sound like your passing out because you usually can feel that
coming on, but I honestly don't know!

Take care

I am humored by those scooter commercials that ask if you have fallen in
the last year. I have fallen four times this month, twice in one week and
twice more in one day. The sad part is that I don't understand how I fall.
One time, I was sitting on the edge of the bed, about to get dressed, hadn't
even started. The next thing that I know is that I am on the floor. I don't
remember getting dizzy or even starting to fall. I just hit the floor. I
am so lucky that I haven't broken any bones yet, but I expect to do so
sometime.

I know this is a weird and difficult question, but what can I do to keep
from falling? Honestly, sitting on the bed and then I'm on the floor. What
the heck am I doing wrong?
