Quad sweat is not the sweat a normal person might produce through exercise. It
is a cold sweat, a Scooby-do sweat caused by pain, fear, anxiety, etc. It
actually feels cold and clammy and is really miserable when hit by an air
conditioner or cool breeze. Unrecognized pain is usually the culprit for us.
