My mother is 64 abnd she got shingles last year. She sufferred from extreme pin and the doctor wouldnt give her any meds. i never knew about the effects of this but its bad. I hear if you have had chicken pox you can get shingles. i dont know a thing about the vaccine though. Ron Pracht
