When a chair is shipped by Pride, a "pro" number is sent to the DME for tracking and tracing an order. I can receive that same pro number and track an order from the time it leaves the factory all the way to the DME. I can tell exactly when it was delivered and who signed the receipt. Tracking is so easy. After your chair is received. It must be unpacked and tested, while the batteries are charged over night. Only then can your DME call and advise you that it will be shipped. I would call in the morning and ask if the driver got sick. That happens sometimes, but someone should have notified you. That is just good business practice. Friday Aug. 2nd I spoke to a rep from my supplier, they said they were coming on Monday Aug. 5th in the afternoon ... nothing, no show and now phone call. I don't want to get on their "bad side" and complain but WHERE IS MY CHAIR? I'm tempted to cam my insurance company, but then again I don't want to get on the suppliers bad side. The chair I'm in now is about to fall apart, I REALLY NEED this new chair. I have an appointment at Kessler for Aug. 22nd as a follow-up for my new chair ... maybe I should just wait till then?
