It doesnt matter at this point why he didnt show up if he gave you another day 
he is coming. I sincerely doubt things will be right the first time with the 
chair. Its almost more productive if you can go to where the chair is and if 
its not right, its not as big of a problem. What happenned to me was the guy 
that delivered my chair knew nothing about what was ordered and was juat a 
middle man with a couple tools with no way to fix big issues. The person that 
delivers your chair will promise anything to get you to take the chair and 
sign. Problem with that is he will conveniently forget about promises and leave 
you as a "troublemaker". When delivery is made, dont get angry, but at the same 
time do not accept unless it is right for you.

I called my supplier today (Tuesday) and they said NOTHING about not showing up 
Monday. But said "somebody" will be at your home Thursday afternoon around 2:00 
with your chair.
  I have special foot plates that must be adjusted just so, and shoe holders 
that need to be put on as well. I just hope they send someone who knows what 
their doing being this is the very first time I'm dealing with this supplier.
