im 16 yrs post c7 quad. in general spasms will increase and decrease due to
factors like not enough range of motion, a uti, some sort of skin breakdown or
could just happen on their own. when i would wheel for a couple miles or swim
my spasms were the least. you may need to check things like toenails........if
in a week you cant figure anything out you probally are going to need to get on
a medication to decrease spasms, but all this might go away so dont over worry.
in general my spasms are much less now than they were when i started.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Increased Spasms

I’m a healthy c5/6 complete 10 years post.  My spasm are gradually
getting more
frequent and more intense.  They now wake me up 5 or 6 times a
night.  They seem
to be centered in my mid section and then make my legs jump when they kick
in.
Generally, only when I’m laying down.

Anyone know how to deal with this?  Don’t take baclofen.

Thanks!
