I suppose it could be amps/volts and the could also be using gel. I think most 
wheelchair batteries are 24 volt gel and the amps vary I believe. It would be 
best to read up on your chairs specific needs.

Are the batteries AGM rated or just Gel Batteries.  Are the batteries rated for 
indoor use?  Airport and Air/Jet rated ?
