Most wheelchair batteries are 12 volt dc and can range from 32- 55 amps.
They are usually AGM Rated.

I suppose it could be amps/volts and the could also be using gel. I think
most wheelchair batteries are 24 volt gel and the amps vary I believe. It
would be best to read up on your chairs specific needs.

Are the batteries AGM rated or just Gel Batteries. Are the batteries
rated for indoor use? Airport and Air/Jet rated ?

Need a bit of knowledge. My friend up the street needs new batteries for
his chair. He called a battery store and they quoted him $425 for 2
wheelchair batteries. Auto Zone quoted $160 for 2 deep cycle marine batteries.
What
is the difference here and what should I tell him? I have always used the
cheap ones.
