True--a mistake was made getting the wrong van but as a quad sometimes
things can work in your favor...Perhaps you can clean up the Van you bought
and sell it locally or on Craigslist for ALL your money back OR even make a
profit off it-- to put towards a different Van. I have found that things
don't always work out fast as i'd like but many times turn out for the best! .
Some towns or cities have public transportation such as CALL A RIDE here
in St. Louis, Mo. area, that may get you around for a while. I heard that
bigger cities like Chicago or some in California have great public
wheelchair transportation access. (hope things work out for you ! ) Dan H.****

Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] transportation

It appears that someone didn't do their homework and allowed others to
make very important decisions for them and now have buyer's remorse. Taking
charge of one's life is so important these days.

Allowing others, including Government Agencies, to make decisions for you
is much too risky. In your case, those making decisions for your
transportation are not doing you right and I would hold their feet to the
fire. I
would suggest that you become more involved with your present and future. I
wish you the best.
