Well, Ron, the biggest change came with the disabilities act, which I think 
finally recognized us as people and made things accessible. Personally, when 
docs finally figured out dysreflexia was a big event for me. They thought I was 
just hot and parked me in front of air conditioner. - which gave me chills and 
misery!
