a woman straddling me on my lap has quite an effect on me. its a lot more
special than my walking days. one time a girl did that and my j2 cushion popped
and this yellow stuff came rolling out. it was worth it for the memory, plus
she was an ot, so she had plenty of advice on what to replace it with

I know what you mean about half hugs, but with my setup it is really difficult
to give me a hug. The last time I had a real hug I was either in bed or I had a
woman sitting in my lap. I don't think I'd like that with the majority of
people :-)

Then again I'm a high-level quadriplegic with my arms in troughs, so straddling
me is a big chore. :-)

I was wondering how are you guys received and get hugs. Most of the time,
people that are close to me, well lean down their upper body, put their arms
around my shoulders and press their cheek to my cheek. I never feel like I've
really gotten a hug. And I watch them hug somebody else who is standing and
they get a real hug, where the more of the upper body is touching.
