I got this great hug from a man, who liked me, who us a senior in my building
and was sitting in a scooter. He reached out his arms (it was Christmas time)
and I reached out mine. He pulled me to him and we both enjoyed a nice long
"hug" But I don't have any balance, so I explained this to Eugene. I knew he
was a "medic" in the Marines so I completely trusted him "handling" me safely
... besides we were in a common area.
He said laughingly "... I could hold to you for as long as I'd like then,
correct"? We laughed and he set me back very, very gently.
I love that memory, now that he passed a year ago July 4th.
