Yep, Wheel is right you can have an abrasion or raw spot inside.......I was
cathed 3 times a day, but after about 3 years I started getting ( strichters )
which means blockage inside me, they removed it twice but it kept coming back
so my Urologist told me to get a Supra-pubic indwelling type catheter, best
deciscion me and wife made we have had this method 15 years now and we both
love not having to cath anymore....she just drains my urine in the morning and

I am C6 inc post 26 years, switched over from cath to external condom cath
about 12 years ago. Recently, during urination I am getting AD symptoms,
headache, bp is going up, and as soon as I am done it goes away.
Culture came back clean, no uti, and I have a urologist appointment next week.
My bowels are completely clean and I'm not sure what to cherk next and worried
of they find nothing I will just be dealing with this for an extended period of
time....which seems unbearable to think about.
