Have you ever tried cathing for residual urine after you urinate. You may be holding too much and not voiding enough. I know it may mean going back to bladder training but it beats a stroke. A small tip, be sure your urine line never hangs down and then goes up to your bed bag. Put a coil of line beside you on the bed. This eliminates hydrolic back pressure and helps keep your external catheter from blowing off at night.Strangely enough, nurses are forced to take courses like English lit and European history but never any basic mechanical or engineering sciences.Best Wishes, John s.
