Have you ever tried cathing for residual urine after you urinate. You may be
holding too much and not voiding enough. I know it may mean going back to
bladder training but it beats a stroke. A small tip, be sure your urine line
never hangs down and then goes up to your bed bag. Put a coil of line beside
you on the bed. This eliminates hydrolic back pressure and helps keep your
external catheter from blowing off at night.Strangely enough, nurses are forced
to take courses like English lit and European history but never any basic
mechanical or engineering sciences.Best Wishes, John s.

any abrasion of the internal skin can/would cause that.  Perhaps that is why
your Uro wants a look see of your urethra. I hope its clear and nothing
serious.Best Wishes In a message dated 7/15/2015 9:48:20 A.M. Central Daylight

 Hi all,
I am C6 inc post 26 years, switched over from cath to external condom cath
about 12 years ago. Recently, during urination I am getting AD symptoms,
headache, bp is going up, and as soon as I am done it goes away.
Culture came back clean, no uti, and I have a urologist appointment next week.
My bowels are completely clean and I'm not sure what to cherk next and worried
of they find nothing I will just be dealing with this for an extended period of
time....which seems unbearable to think about.
 Thanks for your input.
