I personally hate the binders, but I do need a back brace that also acts like a binder. It's even less comfortable and a real pain to get around my colostomy. The binder is a necessary evil. It slows spinal degeneration and helps posture, breathing and digestion. I don't know how true it is about it holding organs in a better position. I do like to readjust mine a couple times a day if I can get the chance. Most days, I can't. Best wishes, John s.
