Bobbie, you may also want to buy some protein drinks such as ensure or
others....there are several popular ones. When I was in rehab the doctor would
order protein shakes made up in the hospital cafeteria, they seemed to really
help all the patients with pressure sores. Good, luck. I sure hope you begin to
heal soon.  Dan H**

Bobbie, Glad to hear that you went to the wound center for your pressure sore
That is something that you do not want to get worse. Call your Dr. or the staff
at the wound center to find out what strength you should take for your Vitamin.
C and Zinc and how often you should take them. Also if you should take them
with meals or not. Next time you go back ask if a nurse will write down the
directions for you.  I hope that you will heal quickly and not have to be in
bed for 6 months as I was before my sore was healed. Best wishes, Rose In a

What do you guys eat for protein when you have a wound?

I have a stage 3 between my A-hole and  vagina ... strange place. On me it's
very bony.

Just got back from the wound center. My Doc wants me on vitamin C and zinc but
I don't know how many mgs.
How many have you guys taken?
Bobbie
