Hello,

My Q950 isn't connected to the 'net permanently yet, so I haven't tried
to run ICQ on it, but I think you suffer from the another problem here.

ICQ has changed the protocol used by its system, so previous versions
aren't compatible with contemporary network anymore. I've used
PC/Win3.1x version of ICQ for long time, but now it's useless. The
symptoms are the same as you describe: I'm unable to add new people to
the contact list, and most functions aren't working. I can still monitor
the online status of existing users, and receive the messages from them,
though.

HTH,
Artur
