Great Tim,
I wouldn't buy the new card as of yet. Enjoy the PM7200/90, but if you
really want to do a faster PM or make it a G3 then I would find a 7600 and
use that as a upgradeable to G3/G4. I also own a 7200/90, have 224 meg ram,
as well as a voodoo 3 3000 video card. I would enjoy the PM the way it is
until you can find a fair priced PM7600, besides you also have 8 ram slots
instead of four. You can put a total of 1 gig ram in it as well, unlike the
7200 which only goes to 512.
I have also played with the idea of doing the very same thing you want to
do, besides you can buy a 7600, a faster daughter card for about the same
price as just the card for the 7200. Last you would lose a PCI slot if you
get the card. These are just my thoughts on this.
