Try embedding the picture in the actual message so that they don't
have to open any attachments. My wife's stepmother and her
grandparents also claimed they didn't know how to open picture
attachments, so that is what I did for them. However, I was sending
the picture from AOL to AOL (Mac to Windows).
Another method might be to post the pictures on a web page in such a
manner that they can use the integrated web browser in AOL to view
the picture in a web page. (The browser in the Mac version of AOL is
a modified version of Internet Explorer. I don't know about the
Windows version.)
