Using OS 7.6 and iCab was so painfully slow for me even with RAM cache
that I went to NN 4.08.

But I have since upgraded to 7.6.1 and haven't tried iCab with that?

Whenever Netscape freezes on me and I do a command-control-escape
it turns out via dialogue, that it's open Eudora Pro 3 that has to be "Quit"
and upon doing so Netscape is back online.

Could YOUR email program be conflicting?
