Another, not entirely unrelated, thing worth noting is that many 
software programs for 68k that claim to require OS 8 or better just need 
the Appearance CP for the 'Copland' widgets. It works very well under 
earlier versions of Mac OS however an gets rid of that, IMHO ugly on 
colour machines, white menu bar.
