I am fortunate to be able to use OS X, I need it for various, mostly
fickle, reasons. I have grown to need it and can't go back to 9.1 for
some things. I fully intend on buying a new iMac to give me a smoother
more purpose built OS X platform. I do however use 7.6.1 and 8.1
extensively for genuinely useful things like server admin (7.6.1) and AV
capture (8.1) and find both still very useful and adequate for what they
fulfill. I am getting a PowerMac 7300 in a week or so to run 9.1 and
some of the things that are clogging up my iBook but don't knock old
OSs (not directed at Scott)......
