System: Quadra 605 aka LC-475, System 7.6.1, Stylewriter II Hi all,
I've run into a baffling problem with the above set-up I am installing for a friend. The printer was working fine until I used the printer port to network to my laptop. On re-connecting the printer, I have been unable to print. At first, I was getting errors saying that the port was in use by another application, then that the printer had the wrong-sized paper, or no paper. I have tried switching Appletalk on and off, changing cables, re-booting, deleting printer and Appletalk-related preferences, removing and returning various extensions and control panels. Now I am getting Print Monitor hangs, as well as a combination of the above errors. Basically I have tried everything I can think of apart from a clean system install, and Disk 1st Aid/Norton Disk Doctor, as I ran them recently too. But they are certainly next on my list.
