Thanks for pinpointing the issues. There is VERY little room behind the SCSI HD inside the Centris 650.
My option is most likely to get an adapter and a 68 pin cable, with the adapter going into the mother board side. Question: What if the drive is not terminated? How do I terminate a drive with this adapter that's in the motherboards' side? Thanks for looking, Phil Wong That is, you can either put an adaptor on the board and use a 68pin cable (but these are generally used for adding a 50 pin drive to a 68pin cable i think!) or, get an adaptor that fits beetween the drive and the 50 way cable. though this can be a very tigh squeeze in some macs!
