Hi all,

I've just spent a very frustrating afternoon trying to add a second drive (a
Seagate ST32430N) to my Q950.

Seems that the best I can do is to have only two devices working at a time, so
that means two hard drives work but the CDROM isn't seen, or if I remove the
second hard drive then I can get the original drive and the CDROM to work.

Also, it seems that I must plug these devices into specific positions along the
cable, which has positions for 4 devices plus what I take to be a terminator
which is plugged into the 5th position, or the floppy disk plus question mark
icon appears.

I've removed termination from all the devices (the previous owner had left it
enabled on the original drive) and checked that all have individual IDs (the
original drive is 0, the second drive is 1 and the CDROM is 3).

Can anyone help me preserve what's left of my hair please?

Cheers

Derryck
