Hi pickle - would you be willing to expand some on the performance issue?
How does RAM Doubler work and how does VM work? And for purposes of crystal
clarity, when you said "performance-wise, they're a wash after OS 8.1" did
do mean to they're a wash starting with 8.5 or did you really mean starting
with 8.1?

Your comment caught my attention because I've been using RAM Doubler for a
long time on 68k macs (e.g. P636, IIsi, LC 575 and my Mystic) with 7.5.5.
As I have added several early Power Macs (e.g. 6360, 6500 and PB 1400) to
my collection using 8.1 and 8.6, I have continued to use RAM Doubler but
have begun to wonder about its merits vs. Virtual Memory.
