Yeah, so did I until someone pointed that out and I opened up a couple myself. Resoldering most of the connections on the CRT-end PCB should fix the bad red problem. MS15s were notorious for this; their design is rather poor and the constant thermal cycling of the PCB causes solder joints to fail reasonably fast.
