Yes, I have a Performa 640CD DOS Compatible (Identical to the 630, for
all intents and purposes) that has been everything from a Linux box to a
TV to a test bench. It has also been a Windows 98 machine (With the DOS
card), a 6214, and even a 6500 (despite what some will say, a 6500 will
fit after a fashion. The PCI slot riser makes an issue though). I'm told
there are some PS capacity problems with the 5500/6500 boards if you add
a lot, but the 6500 is drastically better than a 6200/6300.

All told, I love my 640CD. I even clock-chipped it to 40mhz and upgraded
it to 128 megs of RAM. Right snappy little machine :)

Scott:
Yep, the battery's right where you said it was (attached with velcro).
You've done this before, right? So I'll get a new battery, plug it in
and try to fire the computer up.

If is still doesn't work, I should try to get another mother board,
right? Is the swap list accessible via the Quadlist? Is it part of LEM?

Thanx again,
RM-
