Don't recall what was involved with the external video kit - Video wise on the system, I've got cable (coax) in, S-video, and the three RCA jacks. I found it amusing that my DVD player worked better on the Mac than through the TV/VCR (copy protection circuitry "fuzzed" the video 'til I picked up a converter box.)
