Your trying to use a pc monitor on a mac right?
I hope I got that right but it's late and such...

Anyway if so, does the adaptor has switches on it? if so you might want to try
different settings. it's the switches that tell the mac what res/refresh to output.

Although I have one adaptor that has no switches and just says id=0 on it.
Havent tried that one though, so i don;t know what id=0 means ;-)

Also got a mac monitor to pc converter too, which I use to put a 20" mac (sony)
monitor on my pc which is very nice.

Either that or the monitor is dodgy. In which case fiddling with the controls might
make it better.
Though on some older monitors you hav to remove the back case to access these.
And of course you can only make the adjustments when the monitor is on.
In which case be sure not to shock yourself, them things can be nasty!!!!
