I like www.apple-history.com. He's got a good layout. Mostly he just copies 
Apple's stuff, but it's put together better.

I always read that the Valkyrie-type boards clock-doubled the cpu. I know 
it's more of a PR thing, but does anyone know for sure? The procs ARE only 
rated for 33, though. If they were clock-doubled wouldn't they need to be 
rated higher?

I thought '040s could only do 32-bit? Wasn't it just the internal cache that 
you could enable/disable?

When did 7.5 come out? Apple-history says the 580 debuted in April of '95. I 
remember getting my Q630 in the 2nd half of '94, and it shipped with 7.1.2P. 
The guy at the store I bought it from made me a copy of the 7.5 install 
disks (all 20 or so of them) so I would figure 7.5 came out near the summer 
of '94.
