Don't really need it unless you overclock it. Mac processors aren't like PC processors. My Athlon is a fast chip, but if I even just unplugged the fan it would burn itself up pretty quickly. My Quadra 605 being a moderately trafficked web server doesn't even need its internal fan :) That said, adding one certainly wouldn't hurt.
