I've got two 840AVs that have been sitting (inside, no water, no extreme
temps, etc.) for maybe six months. They worked before they were put away...
now, there's not even a chime.

I've had one almost completely apart - pulled RAM, VRAM, replaced PRAM
battery, etc. Put one SIMM back in, since I couldn't recall right offhand
if they had onboard RAM. Disconnected the SCSI cable and power to the hard
drive (which actually worked with a third - chimed, complained, powered it
off and hooked it back up, and it works fine now.)

The second, I've just replaced PRAM, tried firing it up without the SCSI
cable hooked up after it wouldn't cooperate...

Neither one chimes.

Where do I look next? Like I said, I *know* these worked before being put
away for a bit.

-Eric
