I have all three known versions of the Spigot PAV (It's Power AV not Pro AV - I have one in my 840av that was new boxed :P ) extension. The software is pretty minimal there is a SpigotPAV extension (about 125k) and a player (which you don't need). What you do need if you seriously want to record big video (like full screen PAL/NTSC at 30fps) is a very fast hard disk and controller card. I have Jackhammer with a 9GB U160 (i know, i know, but it was all I could get my paws on and there it will stay until I get a U3W card for Mac OS X) with and it's not fast enough to record 640x480 (PAL) but it will amply cope with 320x240 (1/2 PAL) straight from my VCR. I thought for the longest time it was a dud card until I figured out you must have a monitor attached to the on-board video connector - DUHH!!! -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> Visit my Homepage: <http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson> Vintage Macs List Nanny "Never send a human to do a machine's job." -The Matrix -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
