Yes but the drive even completely blank gives me the sad mac now. I reformatted it and it still won't work inside the quadra. I gave up for now. I began asking myself, "is this fun?" I spent hours trying to shoehorn that thing in there, and you may have a good point about cooling. The Q605 case may not have enough for the large drive. So in to an external case it goes!
