Burn up the Quadra 605? Probably not. Burn up the hard drive? Probably not. Have no end of problems due to thermal expansion of the hard drive platters due to heat buildup? Probably -- and probably what happened in David Lee's case. Put stress on a small power supply and possibly shorten its life?
