When I went to install a fresh 7.5 on my 575 I had some issues early on. But what I did was to download all 19 disk images and burned them to CD. Then I booted off a boot disk called superbooter that is easily found on the net (but I had to upgrade the CD extension on the boot disk to get the mac to read my CD). I booted the mac with the CD already in the drive and copied all images to the desktop. Hit install and let it go to work. Hope this helps a little...

Winimage and HPVExplorer are two good tools to help you out.
