Hello, I am doing a science fair project with Macs and PCs. I am measuring the speeds of both of them to compare and see which type of computer is better. I am very short on cash as I am only 12. So does any one out there have any Macs they could donate???!!! Thanx alot! ~ Ben ~
Hey, Ben! I did that same science fair project a while back. I could find no program anywhere that tells the speed of both Macs and PCs, so I made my own program which runs on both Macs and PCs. I can send it to you via email attatchment if you want. Just please give me credit on your final :) Unfortunately, I have no macs to donate, and probably the only mac you will find are too old to be of any difference for today's standards. I'd sugest ebay, though, as you can very easily get a powermac 8500/180MHz (or somewhere around there) for 20 bucks.
