I'm hoping someone here knows the web location that has Macintosh manuals in PDF format. I found both the user and repair manuals in PDF format for my Quadra 605 but lost the URL. I'm going to have to take the Q800 apart to increase RAM and VRAM. It looks quite a bit more complicated inside than the Q605 and I don't want to attempt this without reading the manuals first
The hard drive had been removed from the machine and I want to install a large, non-Mac drive. How large can I go on this machine? I've done this in the Q605 using the instructions I found at http://www.euronet.nl/users/ernstoud/patch.html. I would like to do the same on the Q800. Are there any differences I should know about? Also, I have an Apple 600i CD from a PowerMac. Would this work in the Q800? Lastly, I want to install my copy of A/UX 3.0.1 and 3.1 upgrade on this machine.
